Leaked: Blackberry Touch and Bold Touch TV commercials
Two of RIM‘s upcoming 2011 releases have leaked in official commercials, just three weeks before they’re set to be unveiled.
The stars in question are the Blackberry Touch (Storm 3) and the Blackberry Bold Touch, or as the advert reveals, the “Blackberry 9860″ and the “Blackberry Bold 9900″. Asides from the handsets’ official branding, the adverts reveal little else about the upcoming smartphones, although it goes give us a glimpse at Blackberry OS 6.1′s social networking and email features, and what looks like its new-found focus on media and gaming.
From previous leaks, we can expect the Blackberry Touch to launch as a fully-touchscreen device, sporting a 3.7-inch display powered by a 1.2GHz processor. It’ll also feature a 5 megapixel with LED flash, 720p HD video capture, HSDPA and WiFi connectivity, an integrated NFC chip and 4GB of internal storage, expandable to 32GB.
The Blackberry Bold Touch will retain a similar form factor to its older siblings, packing a 2.8-inch touchscreen alongside a portrait QWERTY keypad. Other all-but-confirmed specs include a 1.2GHz CPU, a 5 megapixel camera with flash, HD video capture, Bluetooth, 3G and WiFi connectivity, an integrated NFC chip and 8GB of internal storage, expandable to 32GB.
Both handset’s are expected to be unveiled at Research In Motion‘s Blackberry World conference next month.
